Introduction
The direct anterior approach for THA is a muscle sparing technique that has been associated with a steep learning curve. A large follow-up study has not been reported yet.

Aim
The functional outcomes and complications of a large cohort will be reported.

Study design. Retrospective follow-up study of functional outcomes and complications. Functional outcome scores will be collected pre-operatively, 1- and 2-year post-operatively: Harris Hip, UCLA, HOOS and SF-36. Complications will be collected. Patients will be clinically investigated pre-op, 6 weeks, 1 and 2 years.
